FreeTOS writes the legal pages a website needs from one set of business details, and keeps them current as the law changes. It is built and run by Outline Technologies LLC, a software company registered in Wyoming, United States.
Why we built it
Every website that collects an email address, takes a payment or runs analytics needs a privacy policy and terms of service, and most need more: a cookie policy, a refund policy, disclosures for affiliate links or AI features. The usual choices were a template you rewrite by hand, a generator that writes one page at a time with no link between them, or a lawyer's hourly rate.
We wanted one place where a small business describes itself once and gets every page it needs, written to match each other, and then does not have to think about them again when a new privacy law passes. That is what FreeTOS is.
From your details to a full set of pages

Business name, website, country, where your customers are and what the site does: payments, accounts, analytics, shipping. About a minute, saved for every page.
- 2We pick the pages it needs
A store gets shipping and refund policies. A SaaS product gets a data processing agreement and an acceptable use policy. Customers in the EU or California add the GDPR and CCPA pages.
- 3Every page is written for your business
Each page uses the same business name, contact email and date, and refers to the others where it helps the reader. You copy them, download them or link to hosted versions.
- 4The pages stay current
When a new law affects the pages in your plan, we rewrite them and email you what changed. You can add any of the 26 page types, and rewrite any page yourself up to 3 times a day.

How the pages are written
Each page is drafted by Google's Gemini model from the details you give us and follows the structure that type of document usually has. The output is cleaned to plain, safe HTML, and you can download it as HTML, Markdown or plain text.
Your details are sent to the model only to write your pages. We do not use them to train AI models, and we do not publish your pages anywhere.
What FreeTOS is not
FreeTOS is a drafting tool, not a law firm. We do not give legal advice and no lawyer reviews the pages. AI can make mistakes, so read every page before you publish it.
If your business handles health, financial or children's data, works in a regulated field or carries real legal risk, have a lawyer review your pages.
