1. Not legal advice

FreeTOS writes legal pages with AI. They are drafts built on common legal requirements and the standard clauses that pages of each type usually contain. FreeTOS is not a law firm, the people who run it are not your lawyers, and nothing FreeTOS writes is legal advice.

For most small websites, blogs, SaaS products and online stores, a well written page covers the basics. If you work in a regulated field such as health, finance or children's services, handle personal data at scale, or face real legal risk, have a licensed lawyer review your pages before you rely on them.

2. Accuracy and completeness

A page is only as accurate as the details you give. If you describe a simple blog, you get pages for a simple blog; if your site actually collects payments or serves customers in the EU, those pages will not cover it. Keep your website details up to date.

Laws change and differ between countries and states. We rewrite pages in your plan when a new law affects them, but we cannot promise that every page reflects every current rule in every place. We make no warranty that any page is complete, current or right for your business. Read every page before you publish it and check that it matches how your business really works.

3. No lawyer and client relationship

Using FreeTOS does not create a lawyer and client relationship, so the duties and protections of that relationship, such as confidentiality and legal privilege, do not apply. Do not share confidential details about a legal matter through this site expecting them to be protected. If you need legal representation, contact a licensed lawyer where you are.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Outline Technologies LLC is not liable for losses that come from using pages written by FreeTOS, including fines, disputes, enforcement actions or lost business. You decide whether a page is right for your situation and you are responsible for the pages you publish. The Terms of Service set out the full limitation of liability.

5. Services we rely on

FreeTOS uses services from other companies, such as Google's Gemini model to write pages and Stripe to take payments. Their own terms apply to the work they do. Our Privacy Policy lists what each one receives.

6. Links to other sites

Our guides may link to other websites and tools. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. Some links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we write about a product.
