Acceptable Use Policy

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to everyone who uses FreeTOS.org, with or without an account. It is part of our Terms of Service.

2. What you can do

• Add the details of a website you run or represent, see previews and buy the Website Legal Package for it.
• Publish, edit and adapt the pages written for that website.
• Rewrite pages when your business changes, within the monthly rewrite allowance.
• Write pages for clients as an agency or developer, with one package for each client website and the client's permission.

3. What you may not do

• Write pages for a business or website you do not run or represent, or pretend to be another business.
• Use one package for more than one website, or share one account between separate businesses.
• Put false details into your pages to mislead your customers, regulators or anyone else.
• Try to read the full pages without paying, for example by changing previews, requests or cookies, or by sharing an account.
• Scrape the site, request previews or pages in bulk with scripts or bots, or send automated traffic that is not normal use.
• Overload, probe or attack our systems, or test them for weaknesses without our written permission.
• Try to make the AI write content that is unlawful, hateful, harmful or unrelated to legal pages.
• Pay with stolen payment details, or buy the package with the plan of downloading the pages and then asking for a refund or a chargeback.
• Resell access to FreeTOS, or offer it as part of your own service, without our written agreement.
• Break any law or anyone else's rights while using FreeTOS.

4. Limits

To keep FreeTOS fast and fair, we limit how many previews and pages can be requested in a short time and in a day. If you reach a limit, wait a moment and try again. If you have a real need for more, email us.

5. Reporting a security problem

If you find a security problem, email [email protected] with the details and give us reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else. Do not access other people's data, change it or disrupt the service while testing. We do not take action against good faith reports that follow these rules.

6. What happens if the policy is broken

Depending on what happened, we may warn you, limit what your account can do, suspend it or close it, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Refunds follow our Refund Policy and the law. Where we can, we explain our decision and give you a chance to respond.

7. Reporting misuse

If you believe someone is using FreeTOS in a way this policy does not allow, for example publishing pages under your business name, email [email protected] with the details.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
